Fraudulent activity by taking over your cellphone number for data theft. Fraudsters will usually ask for the replacement of your SIM card from your mobile network operator, which will be processed by asking for credential information such as ID card numbers and family cards. If the fraudster succeeds in requesting a replacement for your SIM card, your cellphone number will be taken over by the fraudster and all access to your cellphone number will be lost.
Your cellphone will lose its signal so that it cannot receive transaction notifications and there is no access to all accounts registered with your cellphone number.
