What is DBS Digital Credit Card?

DBS Digital Credit Card is a non-physical Credit Card that can only be accessed via DBS digibank in your smartphone.DBS Digital Credit Card is a non-physical Credit Card issued by the Bank in the name of the Primary Cardholder specifically for application submitted via Digital Application Form. The Digital Credit Card can only be accessed via DBS digibank Application and can only be used to carry out online transactions.

The Digital Credit Card will simplify your shopping experience allowing the card to be used immediately after activation without the need to wait for the physical Credit Card. You can register your DBS Digital Credit Card to available digital wallets or your preferred e-commerce platforms.

What is the 60 seconds Approval Process?

When you apply for the DBS Digital Credit Card, after you complete the digital application form there will be a process to check your eligibility. This process takes maximum 60 seconds. Once the check is completed, you will need to verify your fingerprint. If successful, your DBS Digital Credit Card can be used immediately after activation without waiting for your physical Credit Card.

Will I still receive DBS Physical Credit Card?

You will still receive DBS Physical Credit Card which is a plastic credit card that you need to activate first before using it to do an online transaction, offline transaction, and to do a withdrawal at an ATM. DBS Physical Credit Card will be sent to your choice of address when you applied your Credit Card via online and you will receive it approximately 14 workdays after your card approved. Your DBS Digital and Physical Credit Card have different card number, so you can use both at once.

What is DBS Digital Credit Card Spending Limit?

Your DBS Digital Credit Card’s limit is a part of your DBS Physical Credit Card’s limit. Your DBS Physical Credit Card’s limit is called Combined Credit Limit which you can use to transact and do a withdrawal at an ATM. Whereas, your DBS Digital Credit Card’s limit is called Spending Limit which you can adjust as you wish via DBS digibank App, and you can use to shop. Illustration 1:

Your DBS Physical Credit Card’s Combined Credit Limit is IDR10,000,000
Your DBS Digital Credit Card’s Spending Limit is IDR2,000,000
You can use your DBS Digital Credit Card at a maximum IDr2,000,000 per month.
If you use your DBS Digital Credit Card to transact above IDR2,000,000, your transaction will be declined.

I’m currently a DBS Customer, how can I get DBS Digital Credit Card?

As of now, DBS Digital Credit Card is only available to new customer who haven’t had any products from DBS. For applying, new customer can access DBS’s website to see which DBS Credit Card that have Digital Credit Card feature.

DBS Digital Credit Card’s annual fee

For DBS Digital Credit Card, you won’t be paying additional annual fee. You only need to pay annual fee for your DBS Physical Credit Card (primary card and supplementary card, if any).
