Impersonating Official DBS Staff – Stay Alert to Scams

Scams can seem convincing because the fraudsters claim to be DBS staff and speak in a professional, well-organized manner. Stay vigilant to avoid being misled.​

Signs of Fraudsters:

  1. Claiming to be DBS staff and contacting you via Whatsapp (chat or call), email, phone call, and sms.
  2. Creating urgency or panic with messages such as: “There is suspicious transactions”, “Service upgrade”, “Your account is under reviewed or blocked”.
  3. Requesting sensitive information such as OTP, CVV, PIN, & Password.
