Validation of National Identity Number (NIK) as Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)

Thank you for your support and trust in PT Bank DBS Indonesia (“Bank DBS Indonesia”).
In accordance with Regulation of the Director General of Taxes No. PER-6/2024 and Minister of Finance Regulation No. 136 Tahun 2023 regarding Amendment of Minister of Finance Regulation No. 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding Taxpayer Identification Number for Individual Taxpayers who are Residents (Indonesian citizen and foreign nationals residing in Indonesia) starting from July 1, 2024, it is mandatory to use a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) with a 16-digit format. The use of 15-digit and 16-digit NPWP still can be used in a hybrid manner until December 31, 2024 to provide administrative services.
To ensure the convenience of your banking services and financial transactions, we urge you to:
- Validate your NIK against your NPWP by following the guidelines provided in the link Tutorial of NIK NPWP Validation
- Download and save your NPWP electronic card , and
- Immediately update the NIK data that has been validated against NPWP at the nearest DBSI branch.
Please be informed that Bank DBS Indonesia checks the status of your NIK against NPWP and updates your information based on the records in DJP Online. The use of the 15-digit NPWP is only allowed until 31 October 2024 to ensure that your data updates at Bank DBS Indonesia run smoothly and in a timely manner. Regarding reporting that requires NPWP, Bank DBS Indonesia will be using the NPWP recorded in Bank DBS Indonesia's system.
